                            what:

As an entrepreneur, one of the earliest and trickiest decisions for your new business is determining what to charge for your products or services. Some entrepreneurs use elaborate computations while others just guess. But if you calculate or guess wrong, you'll soon be out of business. Smart pricing is the key to business success, but how do you find out what's right? Come network with the region’s entrepreneur community and learn from an experienced panel of experts on this critically important subject.

Larry Schlang from Bantu will share his experience with pricing instant messaging services in a sector full of competitors. Kurt Nyuyen, owner of the strategic marketing company Qnexis, Inc., will provide some insight related to his experience in effective product and service pricing. Kurt has over 13 years experience in marketing with early-stage and Fortune 1000 companies. Howard Freidman is CEO of e-cerv, inc., a pioneer in a new generation of business communications. Howard’s firm was founded in 1998, and serves many Fortune 500 customers. Our Moderator is Matt Haley, an executive in Accenture ‘s Corporate Strategy and Business Architecture organization. Matt has worked with companies across several industries including Exxon Mobil, Xerox, Canada Post, Nextel, and Cingular.

                            Coffee & DoughNets

Despite the sunset of Netpreneur, Coffee & DoughNets continues in 2003 thanks in part to the efforts of four organizations dedicated to helping entrepreneurs in the Greater Washington region -- the Tech Council of Maryland, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, the Washington DC Technology Council, and Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology. Rotating between venues in Suburban Maryland, Northern Virginia, and DC, Coffee & DoughNets will remain the preeminent networking and educational event for the area's startup entrepreneurs.
